And/Or Gallery is a new media art gallery in Pasadena that I run out of my office space.
I originally opened the gallery in Dallas, Texas in 2006, where we exhibited and archived
groundbreaking digital and internet art including the first exhibition of Petra Cortright
and the first exhibition of internet meme cultures in 2009. The gallery reopened in Pasadena in 2016.
Exhibited artists include Cory Arcangel, Petra Cortright,
JODI, Olia Lialina, Paper Rad, Guthrie Lonergan, and Michael Smith.
The gallery recently developed and released the Andor 1 synchronizing video player which simplifies the installation and display of video and sound art.
Digital art conservation, software development, and technical services are available. Clients include Doug Aitken Workshop, Laura Owens, and Kayne Griffin Corcoryn.
Restoration of the 1983 art video game Mike Builds a Shelter by artists Michael Smith and Dov Jacobson.
Starting with only an old Commodore 64 disk and photos,
we restored and archived the software on a modern platform, and then recreated the original 1983 cabinet.
